Hurricanes in Haiti

Projects

haiti_bikeHaiti is known as a nation stricken by poverty. Now on top of already atrocious living conditions, four hurricanes swept through in August and September demolishing everything in their path.

Soon after these disastrous events, MercyWorks sent a team to Haiti. During the trip, one thing became particularly obvious. This was that food is the biggest lack and the greatest need. Please assist if you are able, by giving towards providing food for the people of Haiti. See below for instructions.

We are planning to send another team in early December. This trip will primarily be focused on providing medical care, but will also serve wherever necessary. If you would like to join this team please contact us at mercy@ywamtyler.org or call on 1.866.77MERCY for more information.

I am a Registered Nurse and owner of a Hospice Company. My husband owns a Medical Equipment Company. We are interested in helping in the aftermath of the latest hurricane. I can come along with other nurses, aids, doctors and send medications, supplies, equipment. Of course, we would pay our way. Just let me know. I would love to go and be a part of providing medical relief. We have helped in Medical Mission Trips in the past and have experience.

I can be reached via email or my cell at (803)260-1593.

    Thanks so much,
