Closer to home, it’s now been over six months since the horrifying earthquake struck Port-au-Prince with such devastation on January 12. Since that time, MercyWorks medical and construction teams have worked nonstop to help those afflicted by natural disaster. Over the last six months, we have sent more than 200 volunteers to Haiti who have personally directly served approximately 25,000 people in need.
