I had the honor and pleasure of serving for Mercy Works in Haiti next to Mike, Karen and Brandon. What great people. I miss them all. Haiti was not only my first missions trip but also my first time out of the USA. God truly blessed me by placing me with the greatest team ever. My life has been changed.(I will do another missions trip again). I have returned to my community and continue to share stories almost daily asking people to pray and to not forget Haiti. For anyone out there reluctant to serve, listen to what God is telling you. Pray. Ask your friends and family to pray and step out of that comfort zone. You will not regret it! God is so good.

I am privileged to have been able to join Mercyworks last week in St. Marc, Haiti; the Haitian people are amazing, and I wish I could have spent more time there. I only hope that people will not forget their plight.

Hi,
My name is Danita Edwards and I am the missions coordinator at Green Acres Baptist Church South in Tyler, TX.
I saw what you are doing here with your SLUM program, I love it, what a great mission you have. I don’t know if we can help but if there is something that is needed in not only this program but your many other programs please let me know. Even if it is as small as prayer to as large as I have no idea.
I am new to missions, so I am not sure where we can help or if we even can but I would like to see if there is something we can do.

So glad to see this article! My mom, Cindy, and my aunt, Patty are currently in Haiti with YWAM/MercyWorks. Makes me feel so good that they are doing what they love with such a great group of people, and have so much love, prayers and support. Thankyou!
